For example, an Australian Credit License holder who has Credit Assistance authorisations and is operating as a finance/mortgage broker, is able to sponsor Authorised Credit Representatives to operate under their license with the same Credit Assistance authorisations.
An Authorised Credit Representative agreement may be a suitable option for a firm that is ready to enter the finance industry, but lacks an appropriate Responsible Manager, or is looking to gain experience with the industry before committing to applying for their own Australian Credit License.
